Trained by the towering pillars of Dhrupad, the famous Dagar brothers, Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar and Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar, Pt. Uday Bhawalkar has created a niche for himself as the torch bearer of Dhrupad. For him music is an act of transcendence. “The real bliss of an artiste lies in immersing oneself in the ragas and let the music take over his or her existence,”, such is his philosophy.

Pandit ji is the guiding light to Prassanna, compassionately revealing the world of Dhrupad music to him.

Kulavadhuta Satpurananda | Spiritual Master

Based in the Himalayas, Kulavadhuta Satpurananda (which means the ‘Bliss of Truth’) has extraordinary wisdom and accomplishments.

Born into a royal family in Bengal he was initiated at the age of 5 into the secret oral tradition of the Great Indian Lineage of Buddhist Tantra, then completed 29 years of study and arduous practices under a range of India’s leading mystics and masters, including the Royal Guru of Nepal. During this time he received empowerments, initiations and the secret wisdom of diverse spiritual traditions – from the wrathful order of Sufism to the secret lineage of the Christian Gnostics.

In 1993 he was ordained as Avadhuta: master of all schools of meditation and practice. He is a an iconographer, museum curator, a PHD research guide, a painter and has been an event designer for many Indo-International Culture festivals. He is Prassanna’s guiding light in the inner journey of spiritual music and has initiated him in the practice of “Naada Brahman” in the order of the “Nath Samparaday”.
